In addition to writing poems, students were asked to comment and critique the work of their peers. In fact, the whole high school participated by viewing the blog from their iPads and leaving feedback for the developing poets. Here's what some English 9 students had to say about the project:
"I liked both the positive and negative feedback because it helped my writing skills get better," said Layce Sickler.
"It made some of us realize that we were actually better writers than what we thought," said Ericka Moffett.
"It made our work better because we knew that it was going to be available to the public," said Nyadoar Williamson.
