In addition to writing poems, students will be asked to comment and critique the work of their peers. In fact, the whole high school will be participating by viewing the blog from their iPads and leaving feedback for the developing poets. Here's what some sophomore students who were involved with the project last year had to say about it.
"I liked both the positive and negative feedback because it helped my writing skills get better," said Layce Sickler.
"It made some of us realize that we were actually better writers than what we thought," said Ericka Moffett.
"It made our work better because we knew that it was going to be available to the public," said Nyadoar Williamson.
We'll be adding work nearly each school day for two weeks, so please check back often for updates.
