We had our first Honor's Assembly after the 3rd quarter grades were all entered. I am so proud of all my students that got their awards. They were pretty happy too.
We also had a Reading Cafe on March 19th. This evening event is always so fun for the students and families. Students act like waiters and parents choose from a menu of books to crave their appetite:)
On March 20th we had Grandparents Day. This is an afternoon where the students grandparents come in to visit their grandchild's class. We had a kahoot quiz (which is an online trivia question game the kids play on ipads), we also interviewed our grandparents, and made family trees. This was topping off with an ice cream social. It was a fun afternoon.
Tomorrow both 4th grade classes will skype with Mrs. Eschliman's park ranger cousin at Yellowstone National Park to learn more about our topic in Science, rock formations. We have done a couple of these throughout the year with just my class. The kids always have tons of questions for Ranger Cara!
Our final NESA tests are coming up on April 21 & 22. Wish us luck on our final state tests of the year!
Finally my kids are really looked forward to our April 29th field trip to Lincoln along with may other fun event at the end of the year.
