My name is Jessica Lynn Rauert, and I am currently a senior at Wood River. My family consists of my parents, Ron and Jodi, and my two younger sisters, Jocelyn and Jenna. I keep busy through the many activities I am involved in. The volleyball season recently ended, and I enjoyed every last minute that I had left. I will also be running track in the spring, and I have played basketball the past three years. I participate in many organizations and clubs besides athletics such as Future Business Leaders of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Letter Club, Quiz Bowl, National Honor Society, Student Council, Spanish Club, All School Play, All School Musical, Youth Leadership Tomorrow, and 4-H. I am also fortunate enough to hold offices and leadership positions in almost all of these activities. As a member of the community, I find it important to give back. I do this by volunteering in ways that will help me prepare for my future as well as allow me to make a difference.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and running. This past summer I worked at Heritage Bank, put in numerous hours lifting weights and playing volleyball, enjoyed time at the lake, and spent time with friends and family.
After graduation I plan to attend a University in Nebraska and pursue a degree in the Health Science field. I also plan to continue my track career. When I have earned my college diploma, I plan on finding a job, getting married, and starting a family.
