Show Choir & Choir This year I joined Choir and Show Choir, Freshman Mentoring and have helped more with the After-School Program. This fall, I joined the Nebraska High School Rodeo Association and plan on continuing to rodeo in the spring. I have been a FFA member for four years. This has allowed me to participate in a variety of competitions including Livestock, Land and Range Judging as well as Ag Sales, Natural Resources, Livestock Management, and Veterinary Science. National and State FFA Conventions, Nebraska Youth Beef Leadership Symposium and Range Judging Camp were great learning experiences. 4-H has been a part of my life since I was 6 years old and am a member of five 4-H clubs. As an animal exhibitor, I have shown cattle, pigs, horses, dogs, and plan to show chickens this year. I also enjoy photography, heritage, food, nutrition and many other 4-H project areas. I am the Vice President of Junior Leaders and have held other offices in the past. I was recently honored by being chosen as a Hall County 4-H Ambassador. The number of cattle in my herd increased to five this past fall. This year, I purchased a dog, a horse and laying hens. I am working hard to train the dog and horse. I also have a two year old horse I am training and have been working with my old horse to improve at different events. In addition to my animals, I work a part-time job at the nursing home and for my grandpa during the summer. Daily chores around the farm and high school and college homework keep me busy. Even with all these activities, I still find time for fun and friends.
