I attended Shelton High School and participated in Football and Wrestling. I received All State honors in football and was a 2X state medalist in wrestling.
After graduation I attended UNL for 1 year and then transferred back to UNK to finish by Education Degree.
The summer after I graduated I married my wife Tracy and then I began teaching in Kenesaw after graduating from college and taught there for 5 years while coaching football and wrestling. I then was lucky enough to get hired at Wood River and I am going on my 16th year here at ol Wood River High! I teach Industrial Arts and am the head Wrestling coach here at Wood River as well as assistant football. My greatest accomplishment in coaching was in 2011 we won a state championship in wrestling at Wood River!
I have many, or too many hobbies. I drag raced an alcohol injected race car for 11 years in the Super Pro class. I retired from racing in 2000 when Evan was born. Evan, our oldest son is a freshman at Wood River and Riley, our youngest son is a 5th grader at Wood River Elementary. I continue to love restoring and driving old cars and we currently own and have restored a 1966 Nova and a 1978 Camaro LT. We are currently working on restoring a 1980 Camaro Z28. I also love to hunt and fish, especially with my sons.
